The NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Benefit Fund was created by the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. (PBA) in 2005. The purpose of the Signal 30 Benefit Fund is to support the uniformed members of the New York State Police and their families in extraordinary circumstances such as line-of-duty deaths, illness, injury, and loss. A Signal 30 is a Trooper’s radio call for help. It is only used when he or she needs IMMEDIATE assistance in an emergency.
